Job Summary & Description :

Empowered Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team. In this role, you will build meaningful relationships that inspire confidence, promote independence, and support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living fulfilling, joyful lives.

As a DSP, you will work one-on-one with each customer to understand their unique needs, support them in achieving their goals, and provide care in a positive, encouraging, and safe environment. Our DSPs serve not only as caregivers but also as mentors, advocates, and trusted companions for the individuals we support.

352 & 353 : Twin school-aged boys in the Pearl District are seeking two dedicated Direct Support Professionalsone for each childto join their care team. Positions are available full-time or part-time.

These bright, energetic, and curious twin boys love to explore, share jokes, and enjoy their favorite toys. They can be both affectionate and independent, and while they sometimes experience behavioral challenges, they thrive when supported with patience, emotional regulation strategies, and a consistent routine.

An understanding of American Sign Languageeven at a basic levelwould be a wonderful bonus.

Schedule : The schedule will be determined collaboratively between the DSP and the family, within the hours of 5 : 00pm and 8 : 30pm, Monday through Friday, and occasionally weekends.

Qualifications & Requirements :

• Experience with the I / DD community is preferred but not required.
• Must pass a background check. -
• Not all charges will warrant a disqualification.
• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid drivers license, with a good driving record.
• Musthave your own reliable vehicle, with full coverage auto insurance.
• Must be comfortable providing respectful support with personal care, including bathroom and hygiene.
