Job description

Job Title : General Labor / Utility - Light Manufacturing

Hours & Location :

  • 2nd Shift : Monday-Friday, 2 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM
  • Located in Oberlin, OH

Pay & Benefits :

  • $16.50 per hour starting pay
  • Temp-to-hire position
  • Benefits upon hire-in
  • Opportunities for cross-training in multiple production areas

    • Job Responsibilities :

  • Work in the finishing area of the shop, rotating between departments as needed
  • Operate automated packing machines or manually pack products into boxes

    • Dump product into hopper, monitor machine output, tape boxes, and stage for shipping

  • Assemble products by hand or on a machine, adding washers and o-rings to parts
  • Operate sealant machines to apply protective coatings against leaks and corrosion
  • Perform light lifting of small parts and components
  • Maintain an organized and safe work area

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Good attention to detail and ability to work in both sitting and standing positions
  • Open to cross-training and helping in different departments
  • Able to work in a small-shop environment and get along well with others
  • Honest and dependable with a solid work ethic
  • Comfortable working in both hot and cold environments
  • Tow motor experience a plus, but not required

    • Work Environment & Culture :

    This is a small, close-knit manufacturing environment producing precision components for the automotive and construction industries. Work is light and detail-oriented, with a mix of automated and manual tasks. Break areas are comfortable, and the shop values teamwork, flexibility, and steady effort without micromanagement.
