ABOUT THE ROLE

Amrize, a leading supplier of quality, construction building materials in the United States, has immediate openings for a Electrical Mechanic to support operations at Millville Quarry. This position will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of a wide variety of fixed electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, systems and machinery. This entails inspecting the premises, performing routine maintenance and fixing any faulty wiring. Replacing electrical appliances is necessary, so the ability to read blueprints and abide by the National Electric Code is essential. Perform high voltage switching and operate generators in support of operations. Work safely and cooperatively with co-workers and the public. This position typically works from 6 : 00 a.m. until 5 : 00 p.m. Overtime will be required and shift may be adjusted for business needs.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components on quarry equipment such as crushers, conveyors, pumps, and motors.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to minimize downtime and support continuous Quarry operations.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on high-voltage and low-voltage systems.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and federal electrical codes, including OSHA and MSHA regulations.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Implement and follow lockout / tag procedures and other safety protocols during maintenance tasks.
• Assist with upgrades and installation of new electrical equipment or plant automation systems (e.g., PLCs, control panels).
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and parts used for equipment tracking and compliance.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education : High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Field of Study Preferred : Journeyman Electrician - West Virginia Journeymen electrician certification (preferred)

Required Work Experience : Minimum 3 years of experience performing the functions listed above in a construction, building materials, manufacturing or industrial environment.
