Position Details :

Position Type : Full Time / Contract (6+ months with possibility of extension)

Compensation : $43 - $56 / hr depending on qualifications

Overview / Summary :

As an Electrical Engineer in our client's Advanced Manufacturing group, you’ll play a key role in delivering successful data center facilities engineering, design, and construction projects. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of data centers and other mission-critical facilities, with flexibility to be based anywhere in the U.S.

In this position, you’ll provide electrical design, support team collaboration, perform quality reviews, and contribute across the full design process. You may also work directly with clients, owners, and contractors to support construction activities on site. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you and your electrical design team will partner with a broader multi-discipline group to define requirements and produce construction documents.

Your responsibilities will include engineering and design for power distribution systems, UPS, emergency power, grounding, lighting, and low-voltage communications in complex industrial facilities. You may also design retrofits of existing systems to meet evolving client needs. Additional responsibilities can include managing quality, scope, budget, and schedule.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 3 year experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus-style power distribution including conveyance
• Knowledge of and experience with industrial facility design
• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
• Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without sponsorship
