Registered Nurse Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program

Active New Mexico RN license or Compact state RN license

BLS Certification from AHA (American Heart Association)

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg RN experience

Strong clinical skills for medical-surgical patient care

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Coordinate and implement patient care in the Med / Surg unit

Deliver high-quality, safe, and efficient nursing care

Maintain professionalism and respect with staff, physicians, patients, and families

Respond promptly to emergency and crisis situations

Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and equipment management

Ensure compliance with hospital and unit standards of care
