An opportunity to work in a night shift role that offers variety, challenge, and growth . As part of our Internal Float Pool, you will rotate through ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU support units at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. Each shift presents new experiences, allowing for the enhancement of your clinical skills.
Your Responsibilities :
Float between Med / Surg, Telemetry, ED Boarding, and ICU support unitsDeliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentAdapt quickly to different unit workflows while maintaining clinical excellenceQualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 18 months of Med / Surg or Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred)Flexibility : Willingness to meet the following schedule requirements :2 Fridays2 Mondays1 WeekendTraining & Skills :
Receive training in :ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)NIHSS (Stroke Scale)IV UltrasoundCharge Nurse cross-training to support multiple units and enhance leadership skillsWhat You Will Gain :

Your role will involve providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, ensuring safe and therapeutic practices according to established standards. You will use evidence-based practice, skilled communication, and clinical decision-making to create a safe environment and optimal patient experience.
Utilize the nursing process to assess patient needs, plan individualized interventions, and evaluate care effectiveness. Engage patients and families in care planning and maintain therapeutic relationships. Recognize significant changes in patient conditions and implement necessary interventions in collaboration with healthcare team members.
