Overview

Senior Equipment Technician role at AMECO. AMECO, a North American leader in Construction Site Services, Product Distribution, and Equipment Rental, is seeking an Equipment Field Service Technician to regionally support our rental fleet. The position is based out of our Baton Rouge, LA facility.

Base pay range

$23.00 / hr - $28.00 / hr

Summary

Summary : Equipment Field Service Technician is a member of our field service team, handling all aspects of inspecting, repairing, troubleshooting, and performing service / maintenance both in the shop or in the field on service calls. The types of equipment to be worked on include aerial lifts, forklifts, compressors, and generators, to name a few. Travel would primarily be local to regional (approximately a 200-mile radius). Occasional overnight travel may be required as the workload dictates.

Responsibilities

• Performs major, and in many cases non-routine service repairs to customers and company owned equipment in the shop and / or in the field to include customer and project sites.
• Completes necessary paperwork, including work orders, part orders, billing and / or warranty information, as applicable.
• Assists other technicians in advance troubleshooting and problem resolution as called upon.
• Frequent interaction / communication with customers concerning repairs and service needs.
• Maintains an orderly work area / service truck.
• Remains compliant with all applicable policies and procedures / standards.
• Adheres to and supports AMECO's Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
• Meets expectations on attendance and punctuality.
• Plans, organizes, and carries out assignments as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.
