Job descriptionConduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments for adult and pediatric patients, collaborating with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized anesthesia plans. Administer a variety of anesthesia techniques, including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC), to ensure patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. Monitor vital signs, manage pain, and respond to intraoperative emergencies to maintain patient well-being throughout the surgical process. Provide post-anesthetic care and recovery support, ensuring a smooth transition for patients following surgery. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other surgical team members to promote patient safety and a positive surgical experience. Document all patient interactions, assessments, anesthesia care plans, and interventions thoroughly and efficiently within the EPIC electronic medical records system. Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia (required). Current and active license to practice in Washington (only). National Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) (required). Current ACLS certification (required). A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered anesthesia care in a collaborative and team-oriented environment. Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills to ensure patient safety and respond effectively to intraoperative emergencies. This locum tenens position offers a 40-50 hour workweek with no call requirements or holiday coverage responsibilities. Temporary privileges can be facilitated to expedite your start date.
