About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Network Officer (CNO) to lead and oversee the strategic planning, management systems, operations, program implementation, and business development of its Investor, Policy, and Company Network initiatives. The CNO will be responsible for ensuring that the goals of these networks are aligned with the organization's overall strategic plan and budget, and for driving the development and implementation of strategies to increase membership and network activity. This role involves leading a team of subject matter experts, providing strategic leadership for business development, and ensuring the delivery of services that meet the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders. The CNO will also be involved in fundraising efforts, serving as a public spokesperson, and leading the development of thought leadership content.

Ideal candidates for the CNO position at the company will have a passion for the mission of inspiring influential investors and companies to act on climate threats and embrace the opportunities of a sustainable economy. They should be highly skilled managers with a proven track record in strategic planning, team leadership, and programmatic evaluation. The role requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work with data to drive decision-making. Candidates should have at least 15 years of relevant work experience, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and a background in financial and / or corporate sectors. Experience in environmental and sustainability issues, as well as a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, is essential. The CNO will be expected to travel as needed and must be a strong relationship-builder and advocate.
