Job Description
Purpose
Perform a range of specialized administrative tasks that support the floral merchandising division. Utilize a variety of platforms to manage and enter data.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Reports to Division Sales Manager
- Maintains complex records across various platforms
- Responds to inquiries in area of responsibility i.e. : vendor communication, store communication
- Updates information and reports using MS Office applications
- Creates and maintains department documents and merchandising plans
- Act as liaison between vendor and procurement and merchandising
- Generates weekly store bulletins and guides as needed
- Maintains data pertinent to items within the Floral category
- Creates and modifies presentations
- Supports and implements Company policies and procedures
- Develops and maintains positive working relationships with Company personnel, suppliers, and the community in general
- Performs other job related duties and special projects as required and assigned
Job Requirements
Relevant Experience, Education, Certification, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
High school diploma or equivalentExcellent office skills and able to work in a fast-paced environmentSolid computer skills and proficient MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Detail oriented, highly organized with a keen ability to multitaskAbility to work with sensitive data and adhere to deadlinesPossess excellent written and verbal communication skills to foster relationships with vendor partnersPhysical Environment
