About The Position

Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 3 years required

License : Illinois License in Hand Required

Certifications : BLS required

Must-Have :

• Must be able to scrub
• Must go in for lab work within 72 hours of signing contract

Description :

Illinois license required.

Minimum of 3 years of operating room experience is required.

Weekend block shifts are Friday through Sunday.

Candidates must be able to scrub for surgeries.

Failure to attend required lab work may result in contract cancellation.

Candidates will require prior charge experience.

Experience with Epic charting system is necessary.

Clinical settings may include various patient demographics, including neonates, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Skills required include a variety of surgical procedures such as abdominal surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, and robotic surgeries.

Knowledge of infection control and patient safety protocols is essential.

Candidates should be prepared for potential modules and training on specialized equipment.

Flexibility in working additional shifts and adapting to patient needs is necessary.

Comprehensive understanding of surgical procedures and protocols is required.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality patient care is essential.

Strong communication and teamwork skills are mandatory.

Candidates should have a reliable plan for completing necessary lab items.
