JOB SUMMARY : The CDL Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to designated locations while ensuring compliance with all company, local, state, and federal regulations. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : (is not limited too)

• Ensure timely delivery and pick-up of products according to pre-established schedules.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is safe and roadworthy.
• Maintain accurate records of delivery times, mileage, fuel use, and any delays or issues encountered.
• Verify invoices and paperwork for accuracy, return all documents in an organized manner, and communicate any discrepancies, shortages, or issues to the Manager and Warehouse Manager.
• Ensure all cargo is securely loaded and unloaded in accordance with safety standards.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations related to driving and vehicle operation, including hours of service.
• Keep the vehicle and associated equipment in good working condition, following the company’s maintenance schedule, including regular cleaning of the truck’s interior.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries, ensuring that products are delivered in a professional and courteous manner.
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) and DOT medical card at all times.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform additional tasks as needed or assigned.
