UW Medical Center-Northwest - Digestive Health and Nephrology has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our newly-expanded clinic.

WORK SCHEDULE

5x8 shift schedule

Monday-Friday only

Day shifts between 7 : 00am and 5 : 30pm; the exact hours may vary each week

Our clinic is located at our Outpatient Medical Center in North Seattle.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

Our newly-expanded Digestive Health and Nephrology Clinic provides procedural and consultative services for digestive and kidney disorders

We provide comprehensive evaluations for abdominal pain and nausea, and specialty care for inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal motility, and functional bowel disorders

We also offer onsite endoscopic procedures, including upper endoscopies and colonoscopies

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

Join a newly-expanded clinic with a unique, dual focus on nephrology and digestive health care

Great opportunity for RNs who enjoy back-office responsibilities, such triage and InBasket management

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Triages Epic InBasket requests based on acuity

Reviews inbound patient referrals

Answers patient calls and eCare messages on a daily basis

Completes patient paperwork, including forms for insurance authorizations

Assist with patient admissions

Provide post-procedure care and patient discharge instructions

Provide care coordination services for patients with complex liver problems

Document care outcomes accurately in Epic

REQUIREMENTS

2 years of recent medical-surgical or procedural nursing experience

Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum : $45.59 hourly

Pay Range Maximum : $83.64 hourly

Other Compensation :

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus (for eligible new employees) BSN (or higher) premium - $1.00 / hour Certification premium - $1.25 / hour Overtime pay
