We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team in Salmon, ID. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals, providing high-quality care, and making a positive impact on their lives.

Overview

As a Physical Therapist Assistant in our rehabilitation department, you will work closely with our team of physical therapists to provide comprehensive care to patients with a variety of medical conditions. Your responsibilities will include :

Conducting patient assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and implementing exercises and modalities to promote healing and rehabilitation

Collaborating with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

Providing education and support to patients and their families

Required Skills

Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Studies or related field

Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Idaho

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Basic life support certification (BLS) and CPR certification

Nice to Have Skills

Experience working in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting

Knowledge of orthopedic, neurological, or cardiovascular rehabilitation

Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software

Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Studies or related field

1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting

Other Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Must be able to travel to other locations as needed
