Responsibilities
- Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
- Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food / drink running, etc. as needed
- Be knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current food and / or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions verbally and clearly
- Accurately write down guests’ orders and enter into POS system, in a timely manner
- Retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area, and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
- Ability to assess guests’ demeanor and identify when to summon a Manager
- Collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner
- Perform shift changes, opening / closing duties, assigned sidework
- Restock and maintain restroom cleanliness for guests
Qualifications
Can physically stand / walk 100% of shiftCan reach, bend, stoop frequentlyAble to deliver plates, and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbsAbility to speak, read and write EnglishAbility to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etcComplete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutesComplete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutesBenefits
