Job descriptionProject Assessment : Carefully analyzing project requirements, collaborating with sales teams and Project Managers, and delivering precise estimates for HVAC projects, including time and cost considerations. Project Diversity : Applying your expertise to a variety of project types, including Commercial and Institutional (universities, hotels, hospitals), to showcase your adaptability in HVAC estimating and project management. Meticulous Estimation : Crafting detailed project cost estimates, reviewing project plans and specifications, researching products and materials, interpreting blueprints, evaluating bids, and creating compelling proposals. Complex Project Management : Handling projects of varying complexities with accuracy and attention to detail in your estimates. Industry Awareness : Staying updated on the latest industry trends and innovations to remain competitive in this ever-evolving field. Effective Communication : Collaborating seamlessly with customers, sales teams, and internal departments to ensure successful project delivery. Regulatory Compliance : Understanding energy codes and specifications that may impact each project, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations. Documentation : Maintaining well-organized records of all completed estimates in an accessible repository. 5+ Years of HVAC Estimating / Project Management Experience : A strong foundation in HVAC estimating and project management is essential. Diverse Project Portfolio : Experience with a range of project types, including Commercial and Industrial, to demonstrate adaptability. Estimation Expertise : Proficiency in estimating HVAC project costs, crafting cost estimates, reviewing plans and specifications, researching materials, reading blueprints, evaluating bids, and preparing proposals. Industry Awareness : Keeping up-to-date with current industry trends to remain competitive. Effective Communication Skills : Strong interpersonal skills for seamless collaboration. Code and Specification Knowledge : Familiarity with energy codes and project specifications. Organizational Skills : Maintaining well-organized records of completed estimates. Stable work history required
