Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,246 per week in Galt, CA

Job Title : Physical Therapist Profession : Rehabilitation Therapy Specialty : Physical Therapist Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Days Hours per Shift : 40 Experience : Minimum 1 year License : Must hold an active license as a Physical Therapist Certifications : Must maintain and update PT skills and certifications as necessary Must-Have : Hold a license as a Physical Therapist in the state of intended work. Be able to lift 50 pounds and assist in moving patients. Have computer skills necessary to complete job requirements. Description : Great opportunity for a Physical Therapist with a focus on patient rehabilitation. The physical therapist implements rehabilitation programs to help improve patient mobility, function, and strength. Essential functions include evaluating and treating patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs. Utilize Electronic Medical Records to complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries. Guide and monitor patient care in all aspects of treatment and follow-up. Supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care. Communicate with physicians and other personnel to ensure quality patient care. Be responsible for accurate patient chart documentation and follow-up. Ensure patients are comfortable and answer questions when necessary. Collaborate closely with front office staff regarding scheduling and patient follow-up. Be able to make independent decisions regarding patient care. Participate in the business marketing and referral process when necessary. Be responsible for adhering to privacy policies and procedures. Comply with OSHA, federal and state regulations. The position requires walking, sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving continually during working hours. The employee must be constantly alert for patient safety. No travel is expected for this position.
