Facility Setting : Hospital – Labor & Delivery Unit

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 16, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-Hour Nights (6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,720–$1,840

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active and unencumbered RN license (Arkansas or compact state)

BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Experience in postpartum and antepartum care preferred

Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse requirement)

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns

Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery process

Administer medications and support pain management for patients

Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes

Educate and support patients and families during childbirth and postpartum care

Accurately document all nursing care and patient interactions

Assist with postpartum and antepartum care as needed
