Shipping And Receiving / Truck Driver

We are seeking a dedicated Shipper and Receiver who will also operate as a driver for our team. This role involves driving approximately 20% of the time, with a focus on shipping and receiving duties.

Responsibilities :

• Manage shipping and receiving activities.
• Validate loads on incoming shipments.
• Enter data and mark received items using Microsoft Excel.
• Utilize scanners for handling shipments.
• Pull materials from shelves to package orders.
• Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse during downtime.
• Operate a forklift to assist with loading and unloading tasks.
• Drive a 24 ft flatbed truck with airbrakes to transport materials to another facility.
• Secure materials on the flatbed by strapping them down.

Work Environment :

The work environment is cold and dingy, and it is not temperature controlled. The position operates on the first shift from 8 AM to 4 : 30 PM, Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be required depending on workflow.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract position based out of Dearborn, MI.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
