Job description
TekStream is seeking a Sr HR Manager / Director for a Construction client in Conyers, GA (onsite 5 days per week).
Leadership & Strategy
Lead all global HR functions, including talent management, performance, compliance, employee relations, compensation, and organizational development.
Partner with executive leadership to align people strategy with company objectives
Drive a culture of discipline, professionalism, and operational excellence ensuring every employee meets expectations for performance, attendance, and behavior.
Serve as the cultural gatekeeper for the firm, maintaining high standards of integrity, punctuality, and productivity.
Performance & Accountability
Implement systems to measure and track employee KPIs
Partner with department heads to hold teams accountable for results and follow through on performance commitments.
Enforce punctuality and attendance standards ensuring employees arrive, perform, and depart according to policy.
Address underperformance quickly and decisively through structured performance management frameworks.
Compliance & Policy
Oversee all HR policies, legal compliance, and documentation across global jurisdictions.
Ensure that company policies are understood, consistently applied, and rigorously enforced.
Maintain a professional, respectful, and compliant workplace culture.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a Director-level role.
Proven success leading HR across multi-site organizations.
Strong command of HR analytics, KPI dashboards, and performance management frameworks.
Experience using AI tools for analytics, or HR automation preferred.
Skilled communicator who can combine empathy with authority comfortable making and enforcing difficult decisions.
Deep understanding of labor laws, compliance, and modern HR best practices.
