We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to join our development team, responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining robust backend services that power our entire ecosystem of applications.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned backend developer with expertise in .NET technologies who can design scalable systems, optimize database performance, and implement secure APIs. You should be an effective communicator who thrives in a collaborative team environment. As a Senior Software Engineer (Backend), you can expect to :

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs using .NET and C# technologies
• Architect and implement GraphQL schemas and resolvers to support client applications
• Work with both PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases, designing schemas, optimizing queries, and ensuring data integrity
• Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions for new features and services
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with data protection regulations
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in a remote-first environment
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards, testing practices, and documentation
• Contribute to CI / CD pipelines and deployment strategies on Azure

Additional Requirements :

Must be eligible to work in the US – no exceptions.

While the position is fully remote, candidate should be willing to travel to New York City 2 to 4 times a year, and have a large overlap with EST time zone for their working hours. Candidate is expected to work from the United States at all times.
