Position Overview : We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neurosurgery Unit. This full-time position offers an amazing opportunity to work with a diverse and complex patient population.
Location : Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215
Schedule : Night shifts with 8 and 12-hour options, including every third weekend and holiday rotation.
Compensation and Benefits :
- Pay range : $37.50 - $56.25, with a sign-on bonus of $15,000 for 3rd shift.
- Annual increases based on performance.

About the Role : In the Neurosurgical Unit, you will care for patients undergoing a variety of neurosurgical procedures, including :
Post-operative care for craniotomies, AVMs, and tumor resections.Patients following cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Management of hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients within our Comprehensive Stroke Program.A focus on high-volume cervical and spinal surgery cases and medical overflow.Responsibilities : As a Registered Nurse, you will :
Deliver and coordinate comprehensive, evidence-based care using the nursing process.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and compassionate patient care.Apply clinical judgement, communication, and critical thinking to support optimal outcomes.Assess patient needs and involve families in care planning, maintaining therapeutic relationships throughout.Engage in quality improvement initiatives and participate in professional development activities.Qualifications :
Current RN license in the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.Graduation from an accredited nursing program.At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.Join Us!
