About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 1 year experience in an acute care hospital setting required.

License : IN or compact RN license required.

Certifications : BLS through AHA required.

Must-Have : 1+ years of Medsurg experience required.

Description :

General job duties include providing patient care and support in a medical setting.

Procedures involve using equipment such as IV pumps, wound vacuums, lifts, feeding pumps, sequential compression devices, NG tubes, suction apparatus, and Foley catheters.

The unit has a nurse to patient ratio of 5 : 1.

The dress code requires Caribbean blue scrubs.

Training and orientation include a scavenger hunt and one day supervised on the unit after initial orientation.

Attendance is mandatory for all scheduled orientation days.

The position requires working 36 hours per week, with three weekend shifts per month.

There are no expectations to float to other units or departments.
