Project Leader And Expert

The purpose of this position is to act as a team leader and expert, driving internal and external customers through the lifespan of a project, from concept inception through plastic part / mold design, validation, and production. Responsible for planning, leading, and organizing the APQP and new product launch functions within the organization.

Responsibilities include :

• Leading and managing projects and programs as assigned.
• Acting as the main customer contact for all items in the launch phase as it pertains to customers' projects.
• Planning and developing methods, procedures, and timing for implementation of assigned product launches, Engineering Changes, Value Add Value Engineering, and Continuous Improvement activities.
• Working closely with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to provide consistent communications to the customer, ensure the project is on schedule, and maintain budget objectives.
• Maintaining documentation including open issues, timing, key contacts, EC history, tooling, cost data, customer development.
• Coordinating and monitoring all program documentation including APQP, Control Plan, PFMEA, Process Flow, Customer Test Specifications.
• Maintaining quoting activities for assigned customer and programs.
• Ensuring new tooling meets the Tool Design Standard.
• Interfacing with customer and suppliers as appropriate to improve or provide feedback on part, material, and tooling designs.
• Being responsible for Program Launch Key Measures and results.
• Adhering to and implementing procedures that are in the best interest of the company.

Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth.

Preferred Skills Include :

Strong written communication skills including the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
