Staffing : There is an ICU tech / CNA on the unit. Hospitalist or Intensivist is in house 24 / 7. RT is available in the ICU 24 / 7. Equipment : Vents CPAP BiPAP Nitric Nurse Techs : No monitor tech; RNs are required to read and post strips every 4 hours. The unit uses bedside and central monitors. Shifts & Scheduling : Self-scheduling is allowed unless specified otherwise. Weekend Requirements : 4 weekend shifts per schedule, every other week.
