Unit : Med / Surg 231

Start Date : 12 / 15 / 2025 (ASAP, start any Monday)

Assignment Length : 8-13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour night shifts

Hours per Week : 36

Positions Available : 5 Med / Surg RN jobs

Charting System : Cerner EMR

Scrub Color : Navy blue

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1280 - $1370

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact nursing license accepted

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg nursing experience

Ability to float to ED holds and similar level of care units

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with diagnoses including post-procedure, stent placement, sepsis, respiratory failure, COVID-19, and renal failure

Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios : 1 : 4 (telemetry) and 1 : 5 (Med / Surg)

Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic medical records

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Float to other units and support clinical teams as needed
