Certified Coding Specialist

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist (OP Surgery, OBS, I / I, E / M).

Key Responsibilities

Provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for outpatient surgery, observation, infusion & injection, and E / M level coding

Ensure accurate code assignment and compliance with coding guidelines and documentation standards

Participate in ongoing training and maintain coding credentials while achieving productivity and quality metrics

Required Qualifications

Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory

Minimum of 6 months of on-the-job coding experience required

Familiarity with EMR and billing systems is essential

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is necessary

Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
