Job Description
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides high-quality clinical services in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.
They evaluate, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy for residents with speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support resident outcomes and regulatory compliance.
Key duties include conducting assessments, monitoring progress, educating staff and families, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree, current licensure in Pennsylvania, and preferred CCC-SLP certification, with experience in long-term care and dysphagia management.
Skills needed are clinical reasoning, time management, and excellent communication.
Work involves on-site resident care, with some lifting and safety protocols.
