Located on the Torrey Pines Mesa near I-5 and Genesee Avenue in La Jolla, Scripps Green Hospital has served the greater San Diego community since 1977. We provide some of the region’s best care, including several nationally ranked specialty programs.

Scripps Green Hospital is attached to Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines. Together we offer dozens of medical and surgical services, including cancer care, orthopedic surgery and organ transplantation.

This is a Full Time, benefited position with a 12 hour day shift schedule that starts at 0645 .   This Lead OR RN position is on the Spine team at Scripps Green in La Jolla. There is a bonus of $4K and a relocation incentive $3K to eligible new hires.

T he lead will not have direct reports. The spine lead will work with other leads to ensure service needs are addressed. They are responsible for knowing all OR services at Green while mostly being assigned in Spine rooms.  The lead will be responsible for helping train staff to the Ortho spine service line and work with leadership to address issues and problem solve.

A l so , r esponsible for the management and coordination of patient care within the Care Unit on a per shift basis. This is accomplished through implementation and integration of the nursing process, through assignment and supervision of appropriate staff and in coordination and collaboration with physicians. The Lead RN functions as the Care Unit expert and provides functional direction to members of the Patient Care team.

Position Pay Range : $60.75-$87.98 / hour
