Job description

Join Our Neonatology Team in Las Vegas!

Pediatrix Medical Group is excited to announce an opportunity for a Board Certified / Board Eligible Neonatologist to join a robust team of 16 Neonatologists and 8 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners at our practice located in the vibrant suburbs of Las Vegas. This role allows you to be part of a well-established neonatology practice serving a diverse community, situated near four area hospitals that encompass a total of approximately 1,700 annual admissions and over 10,000 births per year.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide exceptional neonatal care as part of a dedicated team.
  • Fulfill 24-hour shifts with in-house on-call responsibilities.
  • Work a full-time schedule of 7.5 shifts per month (2160 hours annually).
  • Collaborate with NNPs who provide essential support.
  • Rotate among four hospitals, spending one month at each :
  • Summerlin Hospital : 52-bed, Level-III NICU
  • Spring Valley Hospital : 28-bed, Level-III NICU
  • Centennial Hills Hospital : 28-bed, Level-III NICU
  • Henderson Hospital : 32-bed, Level-III NICU
  • Utilize advanced neonatal services including iNO and high-frequency ventilation (jet and oscillators) and total body cooling.
  • Participate in an active transport program with full perinatal and pediatric subspecialty support.
  • Engage in robust CQI and clinical research initiatives.

Qualifications :

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
  • Willingness to obtain a Nevada medical license, if not already licensed.
  • Clean malpractice and license history preferred.
  • No visa support required; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • DEA and CSR / CDS certification required prior to start.
  • License and Certification Requirements :

  • Current Nevada medical license (or willing to obtain).
  • DEA license (must be obtained prior to start).
  • CSR / CDS (must be obtained prior to start).
