About The Position
Seeking an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Houston, Texas (TX) to ensure consistent and high-quality care to begin in as soon as credentialed, with ongoing coverage, the role offers a competitive market rate and benefits.
DESCRIPTION :
- 24 hour weekends : 7a-7a
- GYN Coverage : Yes
- NICU level II
- Circumcisions : Maybe required.
- No backup responsibilities for CNM or FP
- Total Hospital Deliveries (annual avg.) : 188
- Total Hospital / Clinic GYN Surgery Volume (annual avg.) : 198
- Anesthesia : yes, in house
- MFM : Yes, on call 24 / 7

Job Requirements
Requirements :
TX License Active and unrestricted. IMLC (LOQ in hand)
BC-Obstetrics / Gynecology, or Truly BE (within 5 yrs of completing residency
BLS, ACLS, NRP & DEA
Covid Vaccination – required, or medical exemption
Minimum 100 deliveries in the past 24 months. 25 Gyn cases in last 12 months.
Minimum 2-years of experience.
