- This is a first shift position 7am-3 : 30pm M-F
- Start Date will be in January 2026
Key Responsibilities
Measurement and Analysis :
Measure and Analyze CTQ Dimensions using various measuring tools and techniques ensuring products meet the specifications outlined in control plans or blueprints. This helps to identify any deviations early and prevent defects in production.Document Activities : After measurements its important to accurately record data into the event log ensuring that all quality control activities are documented for traceability and future reference.Data Entry into SPC Database : Input the measured data and key molding process parameters into our SPC (Statistical Process Control) system. This helps in tracking process performance and ensures any trends shifts or spikes are identified in real-time aiding in proactive problem-solving.Tooling and Equipment Maintenance :
Tooling Set-up and Removal : You will be responsible for setting up tooling removing tools as necessary and ensuring proper installation for the smooth operation of the manufacturing process.Auxiliary Equipment Maintenance : In addition to tooling youll perform routine maintenance and set-up of auxiliary equipment that supports the molding process.Basic Tool Repairs : On occasion you will troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on tools and molds to prevent production delays.Reel and Lead Frame Changes : As needed you will complete reel and lead frame changes to ensure production continuity and optimal machine performance.Quality Control & Troubleshooting :
Perform Quality Checks : Conduct thorough quality checks at various stages of production. This includes both visual inspections and measuring of product dimensions to ensure compliance with quality standards.Troubleshoot Machine and Process Issues : When issues arise you will respond quickly to troubleshoot machines equipment or processes. Youll correct these issues to minimize downtime and ensure the quality of the production run.Adjust Parameters : Respond to machine alarms and make adjustments to process parameters (e.g. temperature pressure speed) to maintain smooth operations.Production Monitoring & Improvement :
Monitor Process Trends : Continuously monitor molding process parameters and look for potential issues like fluctuations or irregularities that could affect production quality or efficiency.Provide Continuous Improvement Ideas : Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for productivity enhancements and suggesting process optimizations or changes.Lean Manufacturing and 6S Practices : Implement and adhere to Lean manufacturing principles and 6S (Sort Set in order Shine Standardize Sustain Safety) practices. This helps in maintaining an organized efficient and safe workspace contributing to the overall productivity of the team.Documentation and Systems :
Document Process Events : Keep accurate and detailed records in the event log throughout each shift to ensure full traceability of process activities issues and resolutions.Work Order Management : In the IQMS (Integrated Quality Management System) start and stop work orders as necessary ensuring all production steps are logged tracked and updated correctly in the system.Sample Runs : Conduct sample runs to verify that production processes are working as expected and that they meet quality standards before scaling up to full production.Team Collaboration and Safety :
Work in a Team Environment : Collaborate closely with other team members and departments providing feedback troubleshooting solutions and assisting in training or supporting new processes.Safety and Cleanliness : Maintain a clean organized and safe working environment by following all safety guidelines and ensuring that tools equipment and workstations are properly maintained and free of hazards.Multi-tasking in a Fast-paced Environment : Handle multiple tasks at once adapting to the constantly changing needs of the production line. You must be able to prioritize tasks effectively to maintain production flow.Specific Skill Set
