This position is fully remote within the U.S.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, create, and launch data products and capabilities, including essential data pipelines.
- Develop reliable streaming and ingestion capabilities utilizing technologies such as Kafka, NATS, and SQS.
- Collaborate with engineering and data teams to establish a strong backend and data infrastructure that supports feature delivery and insights.
- Build scalable and secure systems for accessing clinical data efficiently.
- Enhance our platform’s capabilities, such as event buses and ingestion frameworks, to facilitate future growth.
- Participate in establishing engineering standards, conducting system design reviews, and promoting best practices for eventing, pipelines, and cloud-native systems.
What You Bring to the Team :
A minimum of 5 years of development experience, particularly with cloud-based solutions.Expertise in Python programming.Experience with data platform solutions, including Snowflake, DataBricks, Redshift, or ClickHouse.Proficiency in Postgres or similar relational databases.Hands-on experience with event-driven solutions like Kafka, NATS, or SQS.Ability to build cloud-native distributed systems and work with event-driven architectures.Experience in developing data pipelines.Collaborative experience with product managers on planning and delivering features.Commitment to operating within a security-focused environment.Strong communication and teamwork skills.A Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Desirable Skills :
Experience with data ingestion and integration tools such as Fivetran, Airbyte, or Debezium.Familiarity with Kubernetes.Experience in managing data capabilities for engineering teams (e.g., event bus, ingestion).Background in a rapidly growing technology company.Experience in the healthcare technology domain, specifically hospital billing systems.Our Technology Stack : Kafka, Python, Snowflake, Postgres, AWS, Kubernetes, Fivetran, Airflow.
Compensation : $190K to $230K base salary plus equity incentives.
