Summary : As a Graphic Designer and a key visual storyteller, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs that support brand identity, promotional campaigns, special events, world-class entertainment, award-winning food and beverage, and resort amenities. Reporting to the Manager, Integrated Marketing with dotted line to the Golden Entertainment corporate creative department, you will support a digital-first initiative while providing excellence in legacy media design that drives guest visits and repeat business.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Create, design, and produce creative materials for print, digital, on-property signage, gaming systems (Konami), advertising, social media, email marketing, and web, both independently and based on management direction.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales / catering, events, food & beverage, entertainment, hotel, and gaming) to conceptualize and deliver high-impact campaigns that align with the property’s brand and promotions.
- Maintain and evolve brand consistency across all visual assets.
- Capture photos and videos of casino promotions and events for digital and social media use (professional-level equipment or expertise not required).
- Create engaging, on-brand content highlighting property experiences using photography, video, and graphic design elements.
- Prepare print-ready and web-optimized files and coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Support quick-turnaround requests and ensure timely delivery of all design projects.
- Stay current on casino, hospitality, and entertainment design trends.
- Maintain accurate status of assignments in scheduling software.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws, company policies, Title 31, and federal regulations if applicable.
- Provide outstanding guest service promptly to guests and team members, meeting the company’s guest service standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
3-4 years of professional graphic design experience (casino, hospitality, or entertainment industry experience preferred).Knowledge of advertising and marketing principles.Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail.Accurate and professional written communication, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.Proven experience providing high-level guest service.Knowledge of print production and digital media best practices.Basic understanding of advertising industry and expertise in design and production.Proficient with typography hierarchy and layout design.Strong portfolio of print and digital design work.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects).At least 21 years of age.High school diploma or equivalent required.Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or related field preferred.Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.Obtain and maintain all required work cards.Verify right to work in the United States.Please include a link to your online portfolio.Work Cards
