Description :
This is a contract position for an RN Case Manager.
The role requires coverage on weekends with a rotating schedule.
The unit encompasses various specialties including Med / Surg, Telemetry, ICU, Oncology, Pediatrics, and Emergency consults.
The staffing ratios are approximately 1 RN Case Manager to 25 patients.
Staffing includes a mix of social workers, nurses, case management managers, and directors.
Candidates should have experience with Meditech and HCA systems.
A minimum of 1 year of bedside case management experience is required.
Knowledge of post-acute care is essential.
Familiarity with throughput in an acute care setting is preferred.
Typical procedures include progression of care, discharge planning, and multidisciplinary rounds.
Candidates should demonstrate a strong, proactive personality and adaptability to diverse environments.
Dress code includes black scrubs and business casual attire without open-toed shoes or artificial nails.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team and utilize new equipment and technology.
The environment is dynamic, requiring effective communication skills, especially in discussions regarding discharge plans.
