Physical Therapy Assistant (San Luis Obispo County) Home Health

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic care team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to patients in their homes. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys flexible scheduling and is committed to delivering high-quality care to patients across diverse communities.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver physical therapy treatments and interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.

Monitor and document patients' progress and responses to treatment.

Educate patients and families on exercises and mobility techniques to promote recovery and independence.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.

Adhere to all state, federal, and agency regulations and protocols.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Current California PTA license in good standing.

Minimum of one year of experience in a home health or similar setting preferred.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently in a home-based setting.

Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.

This position is paid by the visit. Compensation for routine visits ranges from $45.00-$55.00 per visit. Actual pay rates vary depending on factors including type of visit, type of experience, location, and years of experience.
