Family Practice with Geriatric Experience - Outpatient

B / E B / C Family Practice Physician with Experience or Interest in Geriatrics is needed in Maine.

This city is located in the Northern part of the state in a family oriented community of 10,000 people. You are 90 minutes to Bangor Maine and 2 hours to Portland Maine and less than 1 hour to Presque Isle where the airport and medical school are located.The hospital is a small critical access hospital.

There are 28 skilled nursing / nursing home beds on the hospital campus.The hospital serves a population of 20,000 people.Services are typical of a rural community hospital and include a 24 hour physician covered ER.

Hours : 4 day office work week -Tuesday -Fri ; No nights, weekends , or holidays. This is a Hospital Employed Position

The Family Practice Physician in this practice will work in the nursing homes on the hospital campus on a Outpatient Basis.

8 weeks vacation

2 weeks CME

Sick Time accrual -96 hours annually

Life Insurance 1x salary -max $200,000

Malpractice insurance-$1000,000 / $3000,000

Base Salary is Competitive & Negotiable , Sign on Bonus, Incentives , Loan Repayment Offered as well as Malpractice
