RESPONSIBILITIES :

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered clinical care.

Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients, integrating physical, psychological, educational, and risk-screen data tailored to each patient's developmental age.

Communicate and document patient assessments effectively with the interdisciplinary team, utilizing all resources to address patient and family needs.

Develop and maintain individualized care plans that align with patient needs, strengths, limitations, and goals.

Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines, medication administration standards, and documentation requirements.

Regularly update care plans based on ongoing evaluations and maintain accurate documentation.

Complete at least one clinical research utilization (CRU) form annually, referencing a research article from the last five years conducted in the United States.

Compliance :

Achieve a minimum of five nationally recognized contact hours (CNE or CEU) each year.

Complete mandatory in-services and health screenings promptly.

Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.

Registered Nurse license in New York State.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

EDUCATION :

AS : Nursing (Required)

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS :

BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
