Senior Copywriter

Job Description

Location : On site in Memphis, TN, Nashville, TN, Charlotte, NC, or New Orleans, LA.

Summary :

At First Horizon, we're passionate about bringing the best parts of a big bank and a small bank to our clients, and we're looking for a senior copywriter to help us tell our story. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience working with creative teams to concept and create compelling ad copy as well as an insatiable curiosity for understanding and relating to audiences through written storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Develop copy for the First Horizon brand across multiple channels, including print, web, digital / social, video, merchandising and email
• Serve as a consistent source for creative ideas, conceptual thinking and a champion of our brand throughout the organization
• Ensure messaging is in line with the company's brand tone and voice and compliant with legal standards
• Consult on and review work of creative partners
• Work directly with strategic marketing partners to develop messaging that meets business objectives
• Represent the internal creative team in meetings to discuss scope and requirements of project requests
