Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) & Paraprofessional Chatter Academy at Chatterbox Therapy Center (Addison, TX)

Position Overview :

We are looking for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide high-quality support for children with complex communication needs. Due to our individualized approach, the caseload is 1-2 children , allowing for focused, personalized intervention. In addition to RBT responsibilities, the candidate will serve as a paraprofessional within the academy, supporting learning and communication development throughout the school day. Student age range would be from 10 - 16 years old .

Responsibilities :

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Support communication development, including AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) use.
• Assist in classroom activities, ensuring student engagement and success.
• Collect data and provide feedback on student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure consistency in care.
• Adapt to evolving student needs with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications :

• Active RBT certification required.
• Experience working with children with autism and / or complex communication needs preferred.
• Ability to integrate compassion and grit into daily work.
• Strong adaptability in dynamic learning environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
