Base pay range

75.00 / hr - $85.00 / hr

Duration : 6 months, 40 hours / week, with potential for conversion to FTE

Location : Hybrid in Marlborough MA (potential for remote flexibility during the contract, but would require 3 days / week in the office if the role converts to full-time / perm)

Rate : $75-85 / hour DOE

Job Description :

Our retail client is seeking a strategic, results-driven Director to lead the day-to-day operations and future direction of a fast-growing retail media program. This role will drive monetization approach, supplier engagement and oversee a team of media sellers, account managers, operations, and external partners. Ideal candidate brings an understanding of retail media networks (RMNs), and ecommerce, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver against commercial objectives.

Leadership

  • Drive revenue growth through innovative media solutions across onsite, and offsite digital media
  • Support onboarding a new onsite partner
  • Lead onboard a new offsite partner to scale the program
  • Develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, high impact opportunities and packaged media offerings.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to execute against mar-tech and data roadmap in a timely fashion
  • Lead a sales and account mgmt. team focused on top-tier suppliers
  • Drive partnerships with third-party ad tech vendors (Criteo, Rokt etc.)
  • Ensure supplier success through end-to-end campaign planning and activation support, campaign performance, and post-campaign analytics.
  • Collaborate with merchant teams to maximize commercial potential

Performance & Measurement

  • Partner with analytics team to enhance performance reporting, improve media attribution and sharpen media insights for brands.
  • Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in Retail / Digital media, merchandising, or eCommerce.
  • Deep knowledge of digital advertising platforms, retail media ecosystems, and performance marketing.
  • Strong business acumen with P&L ownership experience.
  • Experience retail media, and / or first-party data monetization is highly preferred.
  • Clear results orientation : display an intense focus on achieving both short- and long-term goals.
  • Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment.
