Job descriptionStart : 11 / 03 / 2025 End : Ongoing, estimated 6 months Patient Demographics : Adults Admissions : Yes Rounding : Included Phone Consults : Yes Case Mix : General Internal Medicine EMR System : Epic Office Equipment Available : Standard hospital equipment Specialty Backup Available : Yes Support Staff Available : RNs, Scribes Reason for Coverage : GO LIVE conversion Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Temporary Privileges Available : No Credentialing Timeline : 90 days Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered General hospitalist procedures ATLS, ACLS, PALS, BLS required Preeclampsia management certification required Licenses : Active Virginia license or ability to obtain; DEA required (pending acceptable) Board : BC / BE in ABEM, AOBEM, ABFM, ABIM, ABPS not accepted DEA : Active DEA required Certifications : ATLS, ACLS, PALS, BLS required Experience : Residency certificate / diploma from accredited university Other Qualifications : EPIC EMR proficiency Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage during assigned shifts Manage admissions and rounding for assigned patients Collaborate with nursing staff, APPs, and specialty consultants Provide consults and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams Document patient care in Epic EMR according to facility standards
