Job Summary :

As a key member of the Cath Lab, you will plan, coordinate, and implement care for adult patients while ensuring quality and safety in line with our unit's standards. Your skills will be vital in delivering outstanding patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Serve as a crucial part of the Cath Lab procedure team in roles such as circulator, scrub, or monitor.
• Prepare patients effectively for procedures, ensuring timely acquisition of necessary information like history and physical assessments.
• Utilize critical judgment to perform patient assessments, administer medications, and promptly report any abnormal findings to the physician.
• Execute safe hemostasis practices, utilizing vascular devices as needed.
• Accurately enter patient orders and charges, ensuring consistency and correctness.
• Provide critical care with confidence, even in high-pressure situations.
• Educate patients and families according to evaluated needs, documenting education and keeping them informed about tests and treatments.
• Escort family members to the cardiology or Cath Lab areas, when necessary.
• Conduct point-of-care testing according to established policies and procedures.
• Maintain a constant state of alertness and safe practice while performing other assigned duties.
