Position Description

Job purpose

Work will consist of installation, alterations, additions and / or repairs of electrical systems,

conductors and associated materials and equipment, within the commercial, industrial electrical

industry.

Duties and responsibilities

Assist electricians by performing tasks under the supervision of an electrician supervising and / or

performing the electrical installation. This employee should keep all materials, tools, and

equipment in an orderly fashion and keep the work area clean at all times. Demonstrate safe work

habits and proper care of tools and equipment.

(2) Learn and Understand the language, terms, and skills used on the job

(3) Produce quantity work according to Mammoth Electric requirements and standards

(4) Plan and Think ahead for maximum production

(5) Maintain equipment and tools in proper working order

(6) Maintain positive attitude towards completing job and complying with all company

policies.

General Employee Traits : Punctual, good and clean appearance, neat, good attitude, and reliable

Learn to identify voltages associated with the color of the wire

Learn to read and comprehend plans and schematics

Learn to bend conduit with hand benders

Assist in wire pulls

Mount and Strap Electrical Components

Attend instructional classes and trainings required by Mammoth Electric

Learn the use of and use tools and equipment

Position Requirements

Qualifications / Skills

Use all hand tools, power tools, saws, threaders, wire pullers, hydraulic benders, knockout

punches, cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers

Dig, either by use of hand tools or power equipment, per Mammoth Electric policies

Practice and comprehend safe work procedures

Operate and work from Aerial lifts

Working conditions

All elements inside and outside

Physical requirements

Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach over head.

capable of lifting a minimum of 100 lbs throughout the course of the workday

Constantly moving your feet

Climb ladders (all types)

Work overhead for a workday

Must be able to make transition from employee parking area or street into construction work

areas and to gain access to all levels of building, even if the only means of access is by O. S.H.A.

approved site construction ladder or stairs still under construction but acceptable for use

Possesses good vision (normal or corrected)

Responsible for securing tools and materials from storage areas to perform assigned tasks.

Travel

Travel to jobsites at various locations throughout the Western States or Nevada

Preferred Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED
