Personal Banker
The Personal Banker serves as a trusted financial partner, building meaningful relationships with customers while delivering exceptional service and tailored banking solutions. This role blends consultative sales, customer education, and operational accuracy to ensure each interaction reflects the Bank's core values and commitment to the community.
Provides extensive personalized service to customers with specific or special banking needs. Engage customers in meaningful conversations to understand their financial goals and recommend appropriate products and services. Provides customers with account information and updates as requested. Delivers personalized service across multiple channels : in-branch, by phone, and digitally. Assists potential customers in establishing new accounts, consumer loans, and completing customer account files. Contribute to branch growth goals through outbound calling, community engagement, and referral generation. Participate in community events that strengthen the bank's local presence and relationships. Ensure compliance with Bank policies, security procedures, BSA requirements, and applicable regulations. Assist other staff in waiting on customers, answering telephones and performing other duties as necessary. Assist in the opening and closing of branch on a daily basis.

The environment for this position is an open office that is mostly clean and comfortable. It may include some minor annoyances such as noise, odors, drafts, etc. The incumbent is in a non-confined office-type setting in which he or she is free to move about at will. The incumbent in the course of performing this position spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 30 pounds), carrying, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling and reaching. The incumbent in this position must be able to accommodate reading documents or instruments, detailed work, problem solving, customer contact, reasoning, math, language, presentations, verbal and written communication, analytical reasoning, stress, multiple concurrent tasks and constant interruptions. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two years of related experience and / or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Work-related experience should consist of a financial institution operations, sales or customer service background. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
