Job Title : MATLAB & dSPACE HIL Testing EngineerDuration : 2+ Year ContractJob Overview : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced MATLAB & dSPACE HIL Testing Engineer to join our engineering team in Mossville, IL. This role focuses on developing and executing Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test plans for validating advanced electronic control systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with MATLAB and dSPACE tools and will play a crucial role in ensuring software quality and system reliability.Key Responsibilities : HIL Testing : Perform comprehensive HIL testing using dSPACE platforms to validate embedded software and overall system functionality. Model-Based Development : Support the development and integration of software using MATLAB / Simulink. Debugging : Use industry tools such as CANape, CANoe, and Lauterbach for software debugging, issue analysis, and resolution. Test Automation : Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to streamline validation processes. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Coordinate with software developers, systems engineers, and validation teams to ensure proper system integration and test coverage. Documentation : Create and maintain detailed records of test procedures, results, and system performance
Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. A Master's degree is a plus. Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience with MATLAB & dSPACE HIL testing. Strong background in model-based development and validation of embedded systems. Technical Skills : Proficiency in MATLAB / Simulink for model-based design and analysis. Hands-on experience with dSPACE HIL systems (ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, etc.). Familiarity with C / C++ programming. Experience with tools such as CANape, CANoe, and Vector DaVinci Configurator is highly desirable. Knowledge of debugging tools such as Lauterbach is a plus.
