Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to deliver personalized nursing care to residents. Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to ensure effective care planning and implementation. Competently address all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Key responsibilities include resident assessment, education, care coordination, and nursing interventions.
You may also serve as the charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring a safe and effective care process. Adhere to the standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act. Uphold the ethical standards set forth by the American Nurses Association.
Qualifications
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program is preferred. A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred. Must hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where work is performed, or have multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Maintain required department competencies and certifications.
