Orientation : All Hours Billable Unit Name : Radiology M.D. Locums Facility Considerations : If the provider floats between locations with the same credentialing, a float pool may need to be created. Specialty : General Radiology (Diagnostic), all onsite Start Date : ASAP Contract Length : Through Fall, possibly longer Shift Details : 8-hour shift Schedule : 3 weeks on, 1 week off Support Staff : Working with 3 other Radiologists Patients per Day : 120-200 average between 4 docs (X-ray : 65, CT : 55, UST : 15, MRI : 12, NUC : 3) Reads Seen : On average day Patient Population / Age : 18+ Department Description : PACS System : AGFA Enterprise; Equipment : All Siemens EMR : Meditech Hospital Bed Size : 222, occupying about 100-130 Skills Required : General Radiology (no mammography), Plain film, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine (limited), Thyroid Aspiration, Percutaneous Biopsy Setting : Hospital Board Certification : ABR Certification State License Required : Yes Certifications Preferred : Certifications Required : BLS Minimum Experience Required : 2 years Credentialing Timeframe : Temp Priv : 45-60 days (if no lawsuits in background), Full Priv : 95-100 days Willing to License : No
