Position Overview :

Project is part of the New York HBITS initiative to support the OHIP Medical Disability Eligibility Unit. Work involves testing Windows-based applications developed using Java and Oracle, deployed on Unix / Linux platforms.

Responsibilities :

• Analyze and document requirements, workflows, data flows, and interfaces.
• Collaborate with developers and analysts on system design and gap analysis.
• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, and automated testing.
• Use HP ALM for defect tracking.
• Prepare project documents and reports.
• Mentor State staff and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Comply with DOH and GOER mandatory training requirements.

Qualifications :

7+ years testing web applications and writing functional / regression test scripts.

7+ years experience using HP ALM for defect tracking.

7+ years using performance testing tools and diverse test types.

7+ years automation testing experience.

5+ years experience with PL / SQL, SQL, Java, HTML.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
