Title : HVAC & Refrigeration Technician

Location :  Southern Indiana & Louisville Metro Area (No overnight travel)

Type :  Full-Time

Salary :  $25-$50 / hour (Negotiable, based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial settings. The goal is to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and configure HVAC and refrigeration systems according to specifications
  • Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with heating and cooling systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
  • Maintain accurate records of service and repairs made
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients about their HVAC needs

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in HVAC or related field preferred
  • Relevant certification (e.g., EPA certification)
  • Proven experience as an HVAC technician or in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
